経営データビジネス学科・３年生のハナ・カリマーです。
インドネシア・西ジャワ州・チアンジュールという都市の出身です。インドネシアは、公用語であるインドネシア語がありますが、地域によって使用されている言語は500以上ある多言語国家です。

私は、2020年1月に来日しました。新型コロナの影響で空港が閉鎖される直前のことでした。来日目的は、日本語学校で日本語をマスターしたのち、大学へ進学するためでした。日本は、経済的に豊かで安全です。そして大学では高いスキルを身につけることができるので、日本の大学で学びたかったのです。

それに、日本のアニメが大好きだったことも来日の理由の一つです。私が子どもの頃は、インドネシアでは、「ドラえもん」「ちびまる子ちゃん」「ドラゴンボール」などが放映されており、朝の支度をしながら日本のアニメを見ていたくらい、日本のアニメはとても身近な存在でした。

神戸医療未来大学を選んだのは、ビジネス＆英語＆福祉について学ぶことができるからです。私の母はインドネシアで幼稚園を経営しているので、児童福祉に興味をもちました。インドネシアは経済的に豊かではないので、国からの設備費用などは期待できません。私は、この大学でビジネスも学び、将来は母の仕事を支えたいと思います。

大学では学友会に所属し、大学のイベントの企画・運営に参加しています。イベントの企画・運営はとても勉強になります。また、ほかの学生たちと協力して活動することが楽しいです。公益財団法人大遊協国際交流・援助・研究協会の奨学金も得ており、経済的にも安心しています。大遊協のイベントを通して、ほかの大学に通う外国人留学生たちと交流ができて充実しています。

この学びと経験を武器に、これからも頑張っていきます。

I am Hana Karimah, a third-year student in the Department of Management and Data Business. I am from Cianjur, a town in West Java, Indonesia. Indonesia is a multilingual country with more than 500 languages used in different regions, although Indonesian is the official language.

I arrived in Japan in January 2020, just before the airport was closed due to COVID 19. The purpose of my visit to Japan was to master Japanese at a Japanese language school and then go on to university. Japan is economically rich and safe country. I wanted to study at a Japanese university for acquiring a high level of skills.

Another reason for coming to Japan was my love of Japanese anime. When I was a child, Doraemon, Chibi Maruko-chan and Dragon Ball were broadcast in Indonesia, and I was very familiar with Japanese anime, watching them while getting ready in the morning.

I chose Kobe University of Future Health Sciences because it offers courses in Business, English and Welfare. My mother runs a kindergarten in Indonesia, so I was interested in child welfare. Indonesia is not economically rich, so we cannot expect the government to provide funding for kindergartens. To support my mother in the future, I want to study at this university.

At the university, I participate in the student association “GAKUYUKAI”, an organization that plans and organizes university events. I learn a lot from GAKUYUKAI’s activities and enjoy working together with other students.

I have won a scholarship from the Daiyukyo Foundation of International Exchange, so I am financially secure. Through Daiyukyo events, I am happy to interact with foreign students from other universities. I will continue to do my best with this learning and these experiences.
